Club Comp Team Names
What's a team without a really cool team name?
Instead of just naming the teams "Team 1, Team 2 .... etc" I have used a random team name generator someone left lying around on the interwebs.
If your team doesn't like your randomly generated name, let me know what you want as a team name and I'll update it.

Club Comp Waypoints
We've got some waypoints which may or may not be used in the club comp.
You can get them from the Comp2010 page ( click http://www.nhgc.asn.au/node/884 )
Please put these into your gps before we turn up on Saturday, it's a lot easier to put them in your gps from your computer than to manually enter them on the hill, and it's worth spending the time to get familiar with gpsdump, gpsbabel or whatever other software you choose to use to manage your gps.

VHF Endorsements Clinic

At last nights meeting, Scott volunteered to hold a VHF endorsements clinic at the end of next month's meeting.
We will be starting the meeting half an hour early to accommodate the VHF Clinic, with the clinic coming as soon as general business is completed.

A short flight
Seabreeze.com.au was suggesting the possibility of a light seabreeze, so I loaded up before I headed in to town with Flo & the kids. We took two cars, just in case it did come on, so she could go home, and I could stay around.
I found Gary up in his Fun and a paraglider both floating around enjoying the light lift, so quickly set up with Stuie graciously stuffing battens for me.
I've been working on a new nose boom mount for my Go-Pro camera, so chucked it on, and put it on video so I could see if my plans worked out.
